For those interested in the deepest aspect of Daoist cultivation, Inner Alchemy (Neidan in Chinese) the class to begin with is Hunyuan Gong, which is itself an alchemical practice. There is no quick path to alchemical mastery, and discipline and dedication over many years is required to begin to develop the capacity for this inner transformation. Also, spiritual work is foundational, and so it is suggested to join our Spiritual Studies Program to cultivate what is called Xing in the Daoist tradition, or Spiritual Nature, to compliment the Ming, or Life Destiny, cultivated with qigong. In Daoism, and particularly in inner alchemy - neidan, both Xing and Ming are cultivated simultaneously. This level of Daoist cultivation is transmitted one-on-one, between friends, after a long period of preparation.
